What to expect
Scenarios
Richard wanted to get away but didn't know where or how
We would work with Richard to help him through his confusion and uncertainty, and help him realise that he wanted to volunteer with animals, and spend at least six weeks in Africa.
Cara was recovering from a painful divorce and needed some nurturing
Gently taking Cara through her confusion we would establish that she needed to do something practical and pyhsical to kick start this new part of her life, and support her in organising coms volunteering.
Anna knew where she wanted to go but was worried about travelling alone
We would work with Anna to create some strategies for managing alone and help her to face her fear. Signing up to our On Trip Support Package would also ensure Anna never felt alone, always had someone to bounce ideas off and an enthusiastic recipient of news, photos and experiences.
Andrew and his wife wanted to take the children
Working as a team we would establish safe places to go in areas that would enrich the children, while focusing on simple transport, short journeys and mild weather.
Rebecca wants to travel, but her husband says she can't go
Working through various steps we would establish ways Rebecca could make the journey alone, and explore how she could discuss this with her husband. On her return we would work with her to explore issues that had arisen since she was away.
Sally wanted to take the trip of a lifetime but needed help doing it
The Career Break Guru would accompany Sally on her two month tour of India and Asia, assisting with bookings and transport, seeking out little known sightseeing gems, enriching her knowledge, and sharing experiences, thoughts and photos.
John and Sarah wanted to travel together but wanted to do different things
Working with the couple we would establish that the one thing they both really wanted to do was reconnect with each other, so we would identified key things they could do together, and have a debrief with them on their return to give the trip a focus.
